Tadikira Mafudza, a step-son to former President Peter Mutharika is still being reminded at Maula Prison in the capital Lilongwe, faceofmalawi can reveal.

Mafudza together with four other suspects are answering charges of human trafficking and other related charges.

Two weeks ago, the court in Lilongwe ruled that Tadikira together with four other suspects in the death of 30 people who were found buried in mass grave in Mtangatanga forest in Mzimba be transferred to Mzuzu where they will be answering their cases.

The Court transferred the case to Mzuzu as it considered it as the nearest place to the scene of the incident.

In the past weekend, leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa visited Tadikila at Maula prison.

Meanwhile, it is not known as to when Tadikira and four other suspects will again be taken to court since Judiciary support staff are currently on strike.
