A 34-year-old male nurse of Mansa General hospital has allegedly taken his own life by injecting himself with unknown drug , hours after conducting an operation with other colleagues.
According to a report published by Mwebantu, Josphat Daka was found holding the injection believed to have been used and was also found with a cut on the forehead as he had fallen to the floor afterwards.
It is also believed that before he died, he had decided to go to bed early and when asked why he was going to bed early, he told his colleagues that it was because of problems.
Luapula province commanding officer Gloria Mulele who confirmed the sad incident said it occurred yesterday around 05:15 hours.
