In a shocking incident that has sent shockwaves across Lusaka, a security guard was admitted to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) after being beaten almost to death by a man only identified as Gilbert Chulu.

The incident occurred in a named guest house, where the 28-year-old security guard, Nelson Nonde, was caught having sexual intercourse with Chulu’s wife.

According to the police, the incident happened around 3:30 pm on Valentine’s Day. The woman Nonde was with is married to the man whose house he guards every day, making the incident even more complex.

The husband of the woman has not been arrested yet, and it is unclear how he found out about the incident. The police are still investigating the matter.
