Eunice Beatrice Sauka, the wife of Malawi’s national anthem composer, Michael-Fredrick Sauka, was laid to rest in her home village of Kabango, Sub-Traditional Authority Toleza in Balaka.

Sauka, who passed away at the age of 87 due to high blood pressure, is survived by her five grandchildren.

Notable figures such as the presidential advisors on religious affairs, Sheki Abbas, intelligence affairs, Kamasamba Chanza, and youth affairs, Lucius Banda, were present to pay their respects during the funeral.
