A 28-year-old woman from Mtendere compound in Lusaka has been arrested for child dumping.

The woman, identified only as Gertrude, was apprehended by a concerned member of the community at approximately 4:00 AM on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023.

Police Deputy Public Relations Officer, Danny Mwale, reports that Gertrude was seen carrying a sack while her clothes were stained with blood.
