President Lazarus Chakwera has described the just ending Takulandilan Malawi Tourism Expo as a success.

Chakwera said that tourism is key for the country to realize inclusive wealth creation as touted in the Malawi vision 2063.

He added that in the global village there is need to value any human kind traveling from one country to another as all sectors are crucial to boost tourism.

According to Chakwera the country is on right track with renewed efforts in boosting tourism.

Chakwera has said the government is doing a lot to improve the tourism sector by among others signing bilateral agreements with neighboring countries and improving airports.

He added that they have also improved on accessibility of visas and that the government facilitated urging international airlines to be flying direct to Malawi.

Meanwhile Justin Dzinkambani has since pleaded with government to fast track constructing roads as it remains a biggest blow for tourists to visit most national parks.

Dzinkambani added by asking for political will to revive the tourism sector.

However Napoleon Dzombe one of the country’s Business Guru has urged entrepreneurs to always have good packaging of goods to attract more international buyers.
