Information reaching this publication indicates that gospel musician Lia Mwathunga has died this morning.
According to sources, Mwathunga died at Mwaiwalatu Private Hospital in Blantyre after a short illness.
Until her death she was working for the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).
