A woman has been found dead at Namata village in Phalombe district in what community members suspect to be a homicide incident.

Group Village Head woman Namata has identified the deceased as Slyvia Chilomo, a resident of the same village under Traditional Authority(TA) Kaduya, whose body was discovered this morning.

The chief claims the face of the deceased had bruises with part of her face swollen.

Phalombe police publicist, Sergeant Jimmy Kapanja says he needs time before commenting.
