Leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa who is also Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for the South on Tuesday paid a courtesy call to one of the senior citizens of Mzuzu, Professor Peter Mwanza.

Mwanza once served as Agriculture minister.

In his speech Nankhumwa said he was delighted after seeing prof. Mwanza doing well and in high spirits.

Before visiting Mwanza, Nankhumwa also cheered former minister Grace Obama Chiumia at her official residence in Mzuzu.

Obama has been feeling unwell for years now.

During his visit, Nankhumwa observed that her case requires a special attention of a Neurosurgeon.

Nankhumwa has since promised to assist Chiumia to get the much needed medical assistant.
