A 45 year-old man has found dead by hanging himself  in a church in Thyolo after his wife donated to the church their piece work earnings.

Officer In-Charge for Masambanjati police  senior superintendent, George Kaleso has confirmed the  incident and identified the deceased as Rex Kondwani.

“The couple did some gardening piece work and were paid K12,000 which was kept by the wife. Yesterday, when Mr. Kondwani asked for his share, the wife told him she had donated the money to their local church,” he said.

Kaleso adds that an argument broke out between them before Mr. Kondwani was found dead, hanging to a roof of the prayer house.
