The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament has come out to demand that as investigations in the Cash gate looting are underway, Mr Charles Chuka, who is the governor of the Reserve Bank of Malawi should be interdicted.

Recent revelations had indicated that the Central bank was in one way or the other involved in the looting of the public purse at the seat of government in the Capital.

Thus, after having an audience with the governor himself, PAC has recommended to Parliament that he be transferred to another department or suspended from his duties so that investigations are carried out smoothly.
