Safton Makako, a 73-year-old farmer from Mzimba became the fifth winner of the K2 million prize after he correctly predicted a TNM super league match between Mukuru Wanderers and Karonga United which ended 2 – 1 in favor of Mighty Mukuru.

Reacting to the news, Makamo who is an FCB Nyasa Big Bullets fan said that the prize money will change his life and he intends to start a business with the money.

TNM’s Head of Brand and Marketing, Madalitso Jonazi said the promotion is accomplishing its intended purpose and during the period of the draw over 1.7 million subscribers participated and qualified for the draw.

According to the terms and conditions of the promotion, Makamo will get half of the money while the other half will be used to purchase football uniforms to be donated to a primary school of his choice.
