The body of former CCAP Blantyre Synod Moderator, Reverend Edna Navaya has been laid to rest at HHI cemetery in Blantyre.
The funeral ceremony was attended by people from all walks of life including government officials and Pastors from different churches.
Speaking on behalf of President Lazarus Chakwera, Minister of Gender, Jean Sendeza, called on women to emulate her determined life while serving God.
Navaya, who died of cancer on Sunday, is survived by a husband, four children and three grandchildren.
The late reverend was ordained as a pastor at the Blantyre Synod in 2001.
Until her death on Sunday this week, the late Navaya was ministering at Limbe CCAP Church and she also served as a moderator for four years at Blantyre CCAP Synod.
