The head coach of Lipulumundu FC, Limbani Nkhoma, said he did not expect his team to play at a high level against FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.

Speaking after the match where they lost 2-0 at the Kamuzu stadium, Khoma, said his boys did their best to stop Bullets in the first half.

“The boys played very well and I didn’t expect them to perform like this, just losing 2-0 and the goals in the second half means that the boys worked hard and I’m happy with the way they played.” said Khoma.

The peoples team got the goals through Thomson Magombo and Chawanangwa Gumbo to reach the round of 32 of the Castel Challenge Cup.

Lipulumundu plays in Division One in the Southern region and it is based in Mangochi
