Football Association of Malawi (FAM) President Walter Nyamilandu has said that he is not afraid of anything ahead of the Forthcoming FAM Elections.

Nyamilandu said this after his appeal against Haiya’s nomination was denied by FAM’s election committee due to late submission.

According to Nyamilandu, the actions to appeal should not be misinterpreted as a sign of weakness.

“My actions to appeal should not be misinterpreted as a sign of weakness but rather a gesture of boldness to stand for justice against the oppressed and to defend the statuses that govern Malawi Football.” said Nyamilandu.

Nyamilandu has been on this position since 2004 and will contest for the third time on the position of FAM Presidency.

The Elective General Assembly will be held on Saturday, 16 December in Mzuzu.
