The Center for Democracy and Economic Development Initiatives (CDEDI) has asked the government to fire Wester Kosamu, the managing director of Salima Sugar Company, as he is not fitting for the position.
The director of the organization Sylvester Namiwa he has said today in Lilongwe that this should be done because Malawi Law Society suspended Kosamu from doing any work related to the law for 6 months after he was found guilty of embezzlement.
Namiwa also thanked the government adviser on legal matters, Thabo Chakaka Nyirenda for bringing to light the financial audit that took place recently at Salima Sugar Company.
He has also asked people in this country to help the government adviser on legal issues in bringing to light things that were damaged at the company in order for the company to start running smoothly again.
