South African based Malawian preacher, Pastor Hastings Salanje is scheduled to address congregants today following his release by kidnappers.
God’s Chapel Ministries has confirmed of the development in a statement released few minutes ago made available to faceofmalawi.
“Shalom to all of the members of God’s Chapel Ministries and the followers of Pastor Hastings Salanje,
“We are excited to announce that Our Spiritual Father; Pr Hastings Salanje has been released by the kidnappers last night and was dropped off near a shopping centre in Katlehong, JHB, RSA,” reads part of the statement.
Added the statement: “He will make an official video statement later this evening at 7:30 pm South African time.
“We’d like to thank everyone who stood with us in prayers and support during this time.”
Pastor Salanje went missing two weeks ago after being taken by unknown kidnappers who were demanding a ransom from the church.
