Mighty Mukuru Wanderers reserve are the champions of the inaugural MK13 million king Kabvina Trophy after beating Karonga Rovers 1-0 at Champion Stadium in Mponela, Dowa district.
David Chikaonda scored the only goal of the match through a spot kick to seal the victory for the young nomads.
The victory marks the team’s second trophy in a row, following their recent success in the Nyasa Capital Finance Cup last weekend.
The Nomads received K3.5 million for being champions while Prince Rovers cart home K2 Million for finishing second.
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Kamuzu Barracks Reserve get MK750,000 each for reaching the semi-final of the trophy.
