Malawi Broadcasting Cooperation (MBC) has announced that they will broadcast 2023 AFCON matches starting from 13 January to 11 February 2024.
The public broadcaster has assured all Malawians that they should not worry as they have secured rights to beam the matches.
“Not sure where to catch Africa’s instalment of the beautiful game? Experience the Total Energy AFCON Cotê D’Ivoire 2023 action, live on MBCTV1, MBC2 On the Go, and Radio 2FM.” Posted MBC.
Earlier last week SuperSport announced that they will not broadcasting the AFCON 2023 and many Malawians were worried but MBC has brought sight of relief.
The opening game will feature hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau on Saturday 13 January 2024 at Alassane Ouattara Olympic Stadium of Ebimpe, in Abidjan
Malawi National Football Team, The Flames, who qualified for the last edition held in Cameroon, did not qualify for the 2023 Afcon finals.
Zambia, South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia and Angola are representing the Cosafa region.
