Police in Lilongwe have arrested seven of the 32 people suspected to have a hand in the robbery and killing of a guard that happened at Shandong Group Limited, a Chinese construction company in Kanengo, Lilongwe.
Deputy public relations officer for Central West Police, Foster Benjamin has confirmed of the arrest in a statement made available to this publication.
According to Benjamini, this follows their investigations after the incident took place last week Thursday where the suspected robbers stole property worth 68 million kwacha.
He said the suspects, which include one of the guards at the said company, will appear before the court soon to answer charges of robbery and murder.
