The Malawi Congress Party (MCP) has condemned the firing of some senior officials in the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), saying it contradicts the democratic principles enshrined in Malawi’s Constitution.
On Saturday, the opposition DPP expelled Kondwani Nankhumwa, Grezelder Jeffery, Nicholas Dausi and Ken Msonda.
The Party has also suspended seven other members including former Vice President for Central Region Uladi Mussa.
In a statement released by MCP National Publicity Secretary Ezekiel Peter Ching’oma described the act as undemocratic.
