A man only identified as Mabvuto has been found dead this morning in the Masenjere forest reserve in Nsanje district.
Village headman Mchambalinja of the area of Senior Chief Mlolo says the body of the man is in a decomposed state.
According to the traditional leader, the man went missing on Wednesday last week.
The village headman says, “Hyenas have eaten part of the body. It is suspected that he was cutting down fuelwood in the forest because there was a panga knife and a small branch of a tree close to his body.”
