Zimbabwean woman stabs her husband’s girlfriend to death after catching them on matrimonial bed while coming from night of prayer

A 34-year-old woman, Stacy Thokozani Mkhandla, has been arrested in Zimbabwe for stabbing her husband’s girlfriend to death after catching them together in her matrimonial home.
The incident, which occurred in Gweru’s Mkoba Village 14 on Saturday night, has left the community in shock.
Thokozani Mkhandla reportedly received a tip-off from neighbours while away for an all-night church prayer.
Upon returning home, she found her husband, Tafadzwa Munyoro, with his girlfriend, Brightness Nancy Phiri, in their bedroom.
Mkhandla attempted to stab Phiri but was restrained by her husband before she managed to fatally stab Phiri with another knife.
Police arrested Mkhandla at the scene, and Phiri’s body was taken to Gweru Provincial Hospital.
