The Ministry of Education says it has registered improvement among primary and secondary school students performance in chiradzulu.

The Director of Teacher Education and Development Dr. Zizwa Msukuma made the announcement at an award of certificates ceremony to over 100 teachers trained under the Malawi Teacher Effectiveness Enhancement Project (MTEEP)with support from UNICEF Switzerland at Chiradzulu Teacher’s Training College.

“Since 2021 the ministry has trained over 2000 teachers to improve quality of education in Chiradzulu.” He said.

Close to 191 schools including Makuwa primary school and cdss, Namaka cdss,St louis Cdss, Maiwa primary school and Chiradzulu primary school have registered improved student performance since the project began, according to the ministry of education.
