Police in Nsanje at Marka Police Unit in have arrested three illegal immigrants suspected to be Ethiopian nationals.
Spokesperson for Nsanje Police Station, Agnes Zalakoma has identified the three as Tsadake Telesa aged19, Apiloli Melose, 18, and Boocho Robe, 19 years-old.
According to Zalakoma, three were intercepted while enroute to Mozambique using uncharted routes yesterday.
She said: “Our officers from Marka Police Unit intercepted and arrested the three Ethiopian nationals who were on foot enroute to Mozambique without authentic documents.
The trio have been charged with illegal entry and they will soon appear before court after completion of investigations.
