President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera this morning held bilateral talks with Zimbabwe Second Vice President Right Honourable Kembo Mohadi at Kamuzu Palace in the capital Lilongwe.

Mohadi is in the country for three days official state visit.

Chakwera confirmed of the meeting in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.

“I have held bilateral talks with Right Honourable Kembo Mohadi, Second Vice President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, who is in the country on a three-day visit.

“Our discussion was primarily purposed on the desire by our two nations to reinforce collaboration across all areas of mutual interest such as trade, investment and social exchange,” reads part of the statement.

He added: “We have agreed to sustain engagement at all levels of contact as a way of opening up socio – economic opportunities for both countries.

“I wish Right Hounourable Mohadi a memorable stay with fruitful outcomes.”
