The University of Jerusalem has awarded three doctorate degrees to Malawians who are former minister of Justice, Ralph Kasambara; leader of opposition in the house and veteran politician, John Tembo; and Reverend Nyondo who is the former Secretary General of the Livingstonis Synod.
However, of the three awardees, Kasambara has greeted his award with much pomp and that has made people to go and dig into the background and conditions with which one can get a degree from the University.
According to the discovery which has come from none other than the University’s website, the University is a free for all place of getting degrees as long as one has got the cash necessary for a degree award.
Kasambara, a graduate of the University of Malawi and University of Notre Dame subsequently has already had some attaching the ‘Doc’ appendage to his name.
