Colorado paraprofessional kiarra jones has been arrested for assaulting children with disabilities.
The arrest comes following a horrifying footage which has gone viral on internet showing a ten-year-old autistic boy being beaten by his teaching aide, jones.
Jones worked as a bus aide to help children with autism and other disabilities travel between school and their homes.
However, three families are now taking action against jones, claiming they started noticing behavioral changes from their children about 6 months ago.
They also noticed physical injuries including scratches, bruises, a lost tooth, broken toe, black eye, and other bruises.
Jones was arrested on April 4 after surveillance footage showed her hitting a student in the abdomen and mouth.
Kiarra Jones, 29, has been charged with third-degree assault on an at-risk person last week and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on May 3 2024.
