A 30-year-old Welder of Kabobola area in Mazabuka in Zambia has appeared in the district Magistrate Court for allegedly trafficking 221 grams of Cannabis.
The man identified as Grey Muimui stands charged with Trafficking in Psychotropic Substances, contrary to Section 15 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act Number 35 of 2021 of the Laws of Zambia.
It is reported that on March 29, 2024, Muimui did traffic in 221 grams of Marijuana, a herbal product of Cannabis Sativa, without lawful authority.
When the matter came up for plea before Resident Magistrate Changa Chitabo, Muimui accepted the charge.
Chitabo adjourned the matter to April 24, 2024, for presentation of facts.
