Death has been announced of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) George Njale who was also serving as head of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at area 30 in Lilongwe.
Njale died yesterday at Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) after a short illness, according to information sourced by this publication.
The cause of his death is not known at the moment.
