Well-known Photo-journalist Ras Peter Kansengwa is currently in India seeking medical treatment following a successful fundraising by his friends.
Kansengwa was diagnosed with a serious eye problem at Kamuzu Central Hospital in 2022 and was referred to India for treatment.
The photographer confirmed of his arrival in an interview with one of the media officers for State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima, Winnie Nyondo.
Kansengwa told Nyondo that he has finished all the Medical tests including Pedscann and the results are getting in progress.
When asked how long will he spend in India, he was quick to respond saying that will depend upon the nature of the treatment he will undergo and by the virtue of the power in results of Doctors determination.
