Dedza Dynamos football club has secured K100 million season-long sponsorship from PremierBet Malawi.
The development means now the club will be called PremierBet Dedza Dynamos FC.
This comes a few months after the club parted ways with their previous financiers Salima Sugar, who sponsored them with K48 million per season for two years.
The PremierBet deal includes packages for player of the month, player of the year, fans’ player of the year and fan of the year.
During the contract signing ceremony in Blantyre, PremierBet Malawi chief executive officer Trevor Whitaker said they decided to partner Dynamos due to the club’s impressive performance in the last two seasons.
Premier Bet announced MK260 million sponsorship to Super League and the sponsorship resulted into chaos as TNM threatened to pull out of the Malawi football.
This resulted in Premier Bet pulling out at the 11th hour.
