Former South Africa President Jacob Zuma has hinted that the people of South trust him so much that they want him back in power.

Zuma said this in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) ahead of the country’s general election on 29 May.

“The people of South Africa trust me. They trusted me when I was President and they are trusting me now and they are taking me back into government,” said Zuma.

On court ruling banning him from contesting as MP, Zuma said he will fight till the end.

The ex-president was banned by the nation’s constitutional court from standing as an MP.
