The Media institute of southern Africa (MISA Malawi) has cautioned media practitioners to take care when reporting sensitive issues to avoid feeding the general public with wrong information.

The sentiment, has been made by MISA Malawi’s chairperson Golden Matonga via board’s Facebook page.

“Let’s deeply exercise caution in our reporting of sensitive topics. Let’s ensure we are adhering to facts and we are as accurate as possible,” reads the statement.

This comes at a time the rescue team continues searching for the Missing aircraft which carried Malawis Vice president Dr Saulosi Chilima and 9 others on board.
