Ambassador Daniel Koikai father to the late celebrated Kenyan reggae queen Jahmby Koikai populary known as Fyah Mummah has passed on in a suspected to be suicide.

It is rumored that, Mr Koikai yesterday in his speech in Jahmby memorial service asked for forgiveness for failing and being absent in his daughter’s life.

Yesterday Ambassador Koikai apologizes to the late Njambi in an emotional tribute for not being fully present in her life.

“I will remember you in many ways and I ask here in public, where I may not have fulfilled my duties as your dad, please forgive me, forgive me, and forgive me. And I pray that your soul will rest in Eternal Peace. Till we meet again, bye-bye.”

His passing comes on the same day his daughter Jahmby Koikai Burial ceremony was going on at Langata Cemetery.
