The Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) has announced the resumption of all sporting activities across the country.

MNCS temporarily suspended all sporting activities on 10 June due to 21 days mourning declared by President Lazarus Chakwera in honor of Late Vice president Saulos Klaus Chilima and eight others killed in a plane crash

A statement signed by MNCS chief executive officer Dr. Henry Kamata, Pointed out that it has been a moment of peace for all sporting associations and affiliates for observing and honoring the suspension.

However, It further calls on all sports lovers to maintain the spirit of peace, unity and excellence in all sporting activities as the 21 Days of mourning are still on.
