The body of well-known Lucius Banda has arrived in the country through Chileka International Airport ahead of the burial in Balaka on Thursday.
Banda died on Sunday night in South Africa where he was receiving treatment.
State Vice President Dr. Michael Usi is the one leading Malawians in receiving the body of the musical icon.
Usi has been accompanied by Minister of Local Government Richard Chimwendo, UTM Secretary General Patricia Kaliati.
