Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary have pledged K30 million for the construction of a police unit in their Lilongwe neighborhood of Area 43.

Bushiri announced the commitment during the project’s groundbreaking ceremony, with Deputy Inspector General Happy Mkandawire of Malawi Police Service in attendance as guest of honor.

Stressing the importance of security for sustainable development, Bushiri emphasized that a safe environment is crucial for community well-being and progress.

He called on residents to unite and contribute resources to realize the initiative conceived back in 2017, highlighting their shared responsibility in enhancing local security infrastructure.

The donation reflects Bushiri’s ongoing commitment to supporting community initiatives that promote safety and prosperity in Lilongwe and beyond.
