The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the United Transformation Movement (UTM) has postponed to a late date a meeting which was scheduled for today in Lilongwe.

The meeting was called among other things to discuss the date and venue for the party’s elective conference.

The other hot issue was to do with the executive decision to leave the Tonse Alliance marriage.

UTM Secretary General Patricia Kaliati has confirmed of the development, saying the meeting has been called due to unavailability of the party lawyers.

Kaliati said the party will soon announce new dates for the meeting.
