South Africa – Omphile Setshedi found out on her wedding day that her fiancé was having an affair and had spent the eve of their wedding with another woman.

Despite her anger and the urge to cancel the wedding, Setshedi chose to proceed after being advised by church elders to forgive her husband, believing it was a test from the devil.

Setshedi and her ex-husband had a teenage relationship that ended but was rekindled years later after he claimed that God had revealed their future marriage to him.

A prophet, who was a guest at their church, prophesied that Setshedi and her ex-husband were meant to marry, which strengthened her belief that their union was divinely ordained.

In the months leading up to the wedding, Setshedi noticed her fiancé’s increasing absences and a strange new pattern in his behavior, which she chose to ignore in preparation for their big day.

On the wedding day, Setshedi discovered that her husband was missing and tracked his car to an area where she knew he had an ex-girlfriend, revealing where he had been.

After the wedding, Setshedi endured years of infidelity from her husband, who was unfaithful with various women and even left her for almost a year for a relationship in Limpopo.

Setshedi took out loans to support her husband’s business, hoping to prove her love, but her efforts were in vain as he continued to act as if he were a single man.

After their divorce in 2016, Setshedi managed to keep her house and pension fund, but she is left single and bruised, while her ex-husband has remarried and is thriving with his new wife.
