Police in Neno district have arrested a 38 year old woman for allegedly having sex with a 13 year old boy.
Neno Police Spokesperson, Constable Rabecca Msoliza, has identified the woman as Alice Masamba who is suspected to have called the boy to her house where she forcefully had sexual intercourse with him.
According to Msoliza, after the act the boy started bleeding heavily from his private parts and this prompted the boy to report to his mother.
Msoliza has said that even though the boy reported to his mother the case was not reported to Police as the suspect and the victim are related and the issue was resolved at a family level.
However, the matter was reported eventually reported to Zalewa Police after some days after the boy started complaining of intense pains when urinating and this resulted into the arrest of the woman
Msoliza has further explained that the boy was referred to Lisungwi Community Hospital for treatment and the woman will be taken to Court soon to answer a case of having sexual intercourse with a child.
Alice Masamba hails from Chatenga Village, TA Mlauli in Neno District.
