Finally former Governor of Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) Dalitso Kabambe has joined the United Transformation Movement (UTM) ahead of the 2025 polls.
UTM Secretary General Patricia Kaliati together with the party’s spokesperson Felix Njawala have welcomed Kabambe at Masambanjati in Thyolo.
In her welcoming speech Kaliati said the seed planted by the party’s late President Dr. Saulos Chilima is multiplying faster than expected.
“Mbewu yomwe anatisiira a Saulos Chilima ndi yamapatsa, timangochulukana. Zipani zikanakhala kuti zimapatsidwa kulera, ifeyo ndiye ayi,” said Kaliati.
She said over 300 other members are also expected to join the party soon.
Kaliati then went on to urge Kabambe to feel free in the party.
