Vice-President Dr Michael Usi made an unexpected visit to the Electricity Supply Corporation (Escom) offices at Umoyo House in Blantyre today.
During his visit, Dr. Usi aimed to meet with the senior officials to gain insights into the company’s operations.
However, he discovered that most of the senior officers were not present, as they were reportedly attending a meeting in Mpemba.
The surprise visit underscores the Vice-President’s interest in evaluating the company’s performance and operations firsthand.
