The department of immigration and Citizenship services says it has resumed passport issuance in Mzuzu from today Monday 29 July 2024.
Immigration Department Public Relations Officer Wellington Chiponde confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Chiponde, the resumption of passport services in Mzuzu means only Mangochi is remaining as Lilongwe and Blantyre are already offering the services.
Passport issuance services were suspended in January this year following technical glitches.
