A group of young people who are doing internships at the National Registration Bureau (NRB) has vowed to hold strikes today addressing their anger towards government for not considering their conditions of services.

In a memo that Face of Malawi has seen, the internees are reminding officials that they are set to hold the strikes that failed last time as it has been scheduled today due to delays of response.

It is reported that the internees have been reminding the government to respond to their complaints but the government has been responding to them without encouraging them.

“When we ask the bosses, people just reply that we will see to your problems, which for us is a real concern,” said the animal.

In particular, these young people want their monthly income to increase from K150,000 to K250,000.

But the secretary general at NRB Mphatso Sambo said that the problem is not them but the young people because some gave their wrong bank numbers.

Sambo said what he knows is that today these internees will do their work.
