Malawian charity and care giver Tusaiwe Munkhondia popularly known as Tusa Yana has apologized to local Malawians for her statement of saying local people does not support her.

In past few days, the director of You Are Not Alone (YANA) charity organization, Tusa, said that her organization relies on foreign donations, seemingly disregarding the contributions of local supporters who sometimes donate stuff with bedbugs.

Her sentiment, made local people criticizing her for not appreciating the love from home.

However, YANA has released a press statement apologizing everyone who felt being offended to what she said.

“Therefore, from the bottom of my heart i would like to sincerely apologise to everyone. This is not who I am. I get overwhelmed sometimes but I can do better and I will do better”, reads the statement.

The 25 year-old lady has assured the general public that she will never use or said any word that will make someone suffer or feeling like not appreciated.

However, Malawian social media influencer, Pemphero Mphande has cheered the young lady for making an apology in good time.

“Thank you for your humility Tusa and for acknowledging your mistakes. God forgave us first, and we will forgive you too and keep on supporting you. Learn from this and grow from it. Look at those who criticized you as angels because they will make you better. We love you!”, said Pemphero.

Pemphero continued his cheering post by saying Malawians should start criticizing her in a positive way as she is doing great job of raising orphans and caring widows.
