The United Democratic Front (UDF) has yet to make a definitive decision regarding their participation in the forthcoming major convention hosted by the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) at the end of this week.

In a statement issued today, UDF spokesperson Yusuf Mwawa clarified that the party’s senior members are still deliberating on whether to attend the convention. This announcement follows the DPP’s recent invitation to several political parties, including the UDF, to join the event.

Mwawa indicated that the UDF will disclose their decision on attending the DPP convention once it has been finalized.

Furthermore, he noted that any potential collaboration with other parties for the upcoming elections will be addressed during the UDF’s own major convention.
