Puma the manufacturer of giant sports wear has terminated its contract with Football Association of Malawi (FAM)

FAM president Walter Nyamilandu Manda confirmed  that the two parties   have partied ways.

” Yes, i can confirm that the deal was cancelled due to non-performance on our part. The requirement was to sell the[10000 units] stocks after a year, but it took us about three years to complete the initial stock.

“We also  couldn’t pay for the replicas due to the financial concentrates”, he said.

Nyamilandu said the development means the Frames are not bared to wear puma branded kits.

“But we can still wear the puma kit if we want to , without any strings attached”, he said

The FAM president conceded that they did not carry out thorough research prior to making a commitment.
