The police in Lilongwe are keeping a drone that wrongly landed at a certain house in Mtandile after losing its signal.
Lingazi Police Spokesperson Cassim Manda has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to this publication.
Despite its unexpected landing, the drone appears to be in good condition.
“In accordance with the law, the police are required to publicly announce any found property before declaring it unclaimed. This is the first public announcement.
“We invite anyone who lost a drone recently to come forward to the Lingadzi Police Public Relations Office to claim the aforementioned property. The owner will be required to provide a detailed description of their missing drone,” reads part of the statement.
The law enforcers have since appealed to the owner to avail himself and collect the said drone.
