The newly elected Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Publicity Secretary Jessie Kabwila has hit the ground running ahead of the 2025 general election.
Kabwila today held her first media briefing since being elected on the post where she highlighted a number of a achievements that President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has done.
The former MP highlighted the disbursement of loans under the National Economic Empowerment Fund (NEEF) as one of the successes, saying all Malawians in all regions have benefited from the loans.
She also lauded Malawians for settling the loans.
Kabwila also cited Tobacco Market as being the best ever. She said farmers across the country are happy with the prices offered on the market.
She then said that the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) should forget of returning to power in the forthcoming 2025 polls.
She said Malawians are happy with Chakwera’s leadership.
